Brief about us.
SOKA is a recycled plastic resin manufacturer based in Surabaya, Indonesia. Founded in 2013, We committed to produce high quality plastic household products and help preserve the environment by recycling used plastic products mainly made from Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET).
We hope that by promoting recycling, Indonesia will be able to reduce plastic waste significantly and therefore will become a better and safer place for our next generation to live in.
Driven by such strong vision, SOKA’s recycling factory was built on an area of 7 hectares in one of the most favorable industrial area in Surabaya. SOKA also benefits from its Austrian-German made machinery, which is claimed as the most advanced technology in the world to date.
The new and state-of-the-art technology is already accredited by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) against Regulation 21 CFR 177.1630, which guarantees the quality and safety of its output product.
Moreover, SOKA’ products have been evaluated against Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 of the European Parliament, “Registration, Evaluation, and Authorization of Chemicals (REACH) and all SOKA’ products do not contain any of the substances of very high concern (SVHC) in concentrations over 0.1% by weight.
Another safety assurance is that all of SOKA’srecycled products have been evaluated and safe to use for food & beverages packaging by Balai Besar Standardisasi Pelayanan Jasa Industri Kimia, Farmasi dan Kemasan (BBSPJIKFK) – Kemeterian Perindustrian against Regulation No 20 in 2019 of the Indonesian National Agency for Drug & Food Control (BPOM-Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan)
